Make room for what matters.
About Wood Between Studio
Wood Between Studio is a small, independent studio that makes quiet, useful things for home. Our motto is simple: Make room for what matters. Planning your time and money should feel calm, the walls and screens around you can be restful, and a little peace and quiet is worth making room for.
What we make
- Planners and budget spreadsheets. Printable planners you can start any month, a dated planner for 2027, page sets for meals and habits, and spreadsheets for budgeting, paying off debt, saving and keeping simple small business books. Sold through Gumroad. Planners in paperback are coming soon.
- Frame TV art. 4K packs of historic paintings and prints, laid out for the Frame TV and any 16:9 screen. Sold through Payhip.
- Wall art, posters and notebooks. Printable wall art sets on Payhip, and posters and spiral notebooks printed and shipped by Zazzle.
- Calm videos. Art slideshows for your TV, classical Christmas music, and sleep and focus sounds on our YouTube channel.
- Writing. Practical guides here, and regular posts on our blog. You can also find us on Pinterest.
How we work
- Quiet design. Cream, green and ink, with plenty of room to write. No clutter and nothing that needs a color printer to make sense.
- Honest listings. Product images show real pages, real spreadsheet screenshots and the actual artworks, and descriptions list exactly what's included.
- Careful restoration. Our art comes from museum open-access collections. We clean up the scans and lay them out for paper and screens, and we credit every artist and date.
- Free tools are enough. Spreadsheets work in Google Sheets, which is free, as well as Excel and LibreOffice. There are no macros, apps or subscriptions.
- Checked before release. Formulas are recalculated and tested, and printables are checked page by page.
- Open about tools. Our products, videos and guides are made with the help of AI tools, and everything is reviewed before it's published.
The guides
The guides are plain, practical explanations of things like sinking funds and the debt snowball and avalanche. They're general information, not financial, legal or tax advice.
